FAQ
What is your grooming process?
A typical grooming begins with prep, which includes nail clipping, pad shaving, ear cleaning, a shave down or brush out, and finally, a bath. Then, the dog goes in a cage or crate to dry. Once dry, their hair is cut and styled.
How long is a grooming appointment?
Grooming times vary depending on the style of haircut, the condition of the coat, and the temperament, health, and age of the dog. Grooming prep can take between 15-60 minutes, and then drying can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The final step, cutting and styling, can take between 15-60 minutes.
Do you charge extra to use specialty shampoos?
No, we do not charge extra for specialty shampoos, such as oatmeal shampoo or medicated shampoo.
What vaccinations do you require?
Updated rabies vaccinations are required through federal law. We also recommend ensuring that your dog is up to date on their kennel cough vaccination.
