About Becky Burr Petro

Becky Petro, our receptionist, comes by her love of animals naturally.   Born, raised and currently living in Brookfield at her family's farm, she grew up with dairy cows, beef, sheep, dogs and cats.  Later on reptiles, fish, lizards and goats would also join the menagerie, many of them coming from rescue or rehome situations.    The motley crew now consists of 2 goats, 4 cats and 4 dogs.

In her spare time she loves to read, enjoys photography, birding and is a lifelong 4-H volunteer.  After many years in the corporate world, her life long love and desire to work with animals brought her to the salon.   

No matter what the size,  from toy to x-large breeds, Becky is comfortable handling them.  Like most of the talented staff at A Muddy Paw, she is also certified in pet CPR and first aid, ensuring the safety and health of all of our clients from the moment they walk in the door.
